Not yours! Hippie.

We spotted this lovely sign at entrance to Union Square park. I thought it might have been a practical joke, but no…the ordinance is published in ARTICLE 4: DISORDERLY CONDUCT. However, the sign maker cited the wrong code (it’s actually 4.01/k). Does that create a loop hole allowing one to avoid prosecution?

Today is not that day. Holy cow, I want this trailor so bad that I can’t even think about anything else. Well, except for the 1965 Ford Falcon convertible that I would need to buy to pull it.

My birthday is coming up soon. Anyone need a gift idea? Teardrop Trailor.

I find Charley Harper’s work very inspiring. When designing toys for Zucchini Pie, I tried to keep his minimalistic nature designs in mind. I just found out he passed away last week.

There is a new career-retrospective: Charley Harper: An Illustrated Life by Todd Oldham. I would really love to have a copy of the limited edition 2 signed by both Harper and Oldham and it comes with a screenprint of Shadow Dancers.

We went to Alcatraz last weekend with Russell and Lisa who were visiting from England. We weren’t sure if we were going to like it, being a touristy thing to do and all. We had so much fun! The audio tour was great–lots of history. The views of our favorite city were breathtaking.

We spent some time wandering around. There are a few shells of old buildings. Here’s a photo looking through a window into the old Officers Club.

It was also nesting season when we were there. There were lots of mama gulls with their lil babies.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. If Mitch was a convicted criminal, this is what he would look like if you were visiting him in prison.
